Monday Night RAW emanated from my old stomping grounds of Sioux City, Iowa, tonight in front of a packed house and blizzard like conditions.

Here’s how the show turned out.

Stephanie McMahon and Chris Jericho open the show with an in-ring confrontation. The two went back and forth until Stephanie ended up firing Jericho.

Rey Mysterio pinned The Miz.

William Regal beat CM Punk by disqualification in an Intercontinental Title match.

It is announced through a great video package that Stone Cold Steve Austin would be an inductee into the 2009 Hall of Fame.

Randy Orton pinned Kane. After the match Manu, Sim Snuka and Ted DiBiase came out to confront Orton and Cody Rhodes, only for DiBiase to join Orton and Rhodes in beating down Manu and Snuka.

The Melina & Kelly Kelly versus Beth Phoenix & Jillian Hall tag team match never got started as Rosa Mendez jumped from the crowd and attacked Melina.

Shawn Michaels pinned John Cena in a non-title match, in what can be considered an early match of the year candidate.
