WWE RAW Results for 1.26.09
Here is the rundown from last night’s live Monday Night RAW broadcast from Cleveland, Ohio.
Randy Orton and The Legacy opened the show with two lawyers and a therapist to explain why Orton kicked Mr. McMahon in the head last week. (He has IED). He then told RAW GM Stephanie McMahon that he will sue her and WWE if he is fired or pulled from his WrestleMania World Title shot.
The Miz & John Morrison defended their World Tag Championships against Cryme Tyme.
Kofi Kingston beat Kane in an upset to advance to the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out.
Chris Jericho came out and put the badmouth on Mickey Rourke, Ric Flair and “The Wrestler” after Rourke talked about coming to WrestleMania the night before at the SAG Awards.
John Cena beat Shawn Michaels.
Beth Phoenix & Jillian Hall beat Kelly Kelly & Melina.
Rey Mysterio beat William Regal to advance to the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out.
Chris Jericho beat CM Punk to advance to the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out.
Stephanie McMahon calls out Randy Orton. Orton demands to be fired so he can sue the company and cancel WrestleMania, which draws the entire RAW roster out. Shane McMahon then hits the ring and brawls with Orton and The Legacy to close the show.
