TNA Impact Results for 2.19.09 - Petey’s Farewell

Published by msatrang at 1:30 am under TNA Impact Results Edit This

Last night’s TNA Impact was a pretty decent show actually. Here’s what happened.

“The Motor City Machine Guns” – TNA X-Division Champion Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin beat “Lethal Consequences” –Jay Lethal & Consequences Creed in a Street Fight.

In the Main Event Mafia locker room, Kurt Angle argues with Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner and Booker T. As Booker leaves the locker room in a huff he is attacked by AJ Styles.

Shane Sewell and “Latin American Xchange” – Homicide & Hernandez beat Sheik Abdul Bashir, Matt Morgan & Brutus Magnus in a six man tag match when Sewell pinned Bashir.

Taylor Wilde pinned Angelina Love.

“Beer Money” – Robert Roode & James Storm defended their TNA Tag Championships against “Team Canada” – Petey Williams & Eric Young when Storm pinned Williams. As a result of pre-match stipulation Williams must leave TNA. After the match the crowd gives Williams a great ovation as he legitimately breaks down crying in the ring. While it was part of pre-match stipulation, Petey Williams was also legitimately released from the company at the same time.

The Sting-Kurt Angle Empty Arena Showdown ended in a contest when fellow Main Event Mafia teammates broke up the fight.
