Chris Jericho opens SmackDown and claims to be the biggest superstar on SmackDown, and doesn’t like that he has to compete in a four way match tonight to earn a World Championship match. World Champion Edge arrives on the scene and mocks Jericho and reminds him that he beat John Cena to win that belt, something Jericho has never done. CM Punk then interrupts both men and reminds them he has the Money in the Bank briefcase. SmackDown GM Teddy Long comes out books Punk versus Edge for later in the show.

John Morrison pinned Shelton Benjamin with the Moonlight Drive.

Jeff Hardy won the four-way elimination match to earn a World Championship match at Judgment Day.

Kane was pinned Chris Jericho.

Jericho was disqualified for using a chair.
Rey Mysterio was pinned by Jeff Hardy.

Cryme Tyme (Shad & JTG) host a dance off between Eve Torres & Layla El, which of course degenerates into a brawl between the ladies.

WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter (with Sherri Shepard from The View) beat Dolph Ziggler to retain the US Championship.

CM Punk beat World Heavyweight Champion Edge in a non-title match with the GTS. After the match, Punk tries to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase but is attacked by the returning Umaga.

Edge opens SmackDown and does another fantastic promo in a series of them hyping up his Last Man Standing match with John Cena at Backlash.

Matt Hardy & Kane beat Jeff Hardy & CM Punk.

The Big Show beat Undertaker by TKO.

WWE Divas Champion Maryse pinned Gail Kim in a Divas Title match.

Backstage Jeff Hardy cut a crazy promo about his “I Quit” match with his brother Matt at Backlash.

WWE United States Champion MVP beat Chavo Guerrero in a non-title match.

Batista & Shane McMahon beat “Legacy” – Ted DiBiase, Jr. & Cody Rhodes when Batista pinned Rhodes.

In the opening match of SmackDown, The Big Show beat Jeff Hardy. After the match, Matt Hardy came out and attacked his brother Jeff.

The Great Khali & Runjin Singh host a “Khali Kiss Cam” and hype up “Santina Marella’s” appearance on the Kiss Cam next week.

Gail Kim pinned WWE Divas Champion Maryse in a non-title match.

John Morrison pinned R-Truth.

Randy Orton and WWE Champion Triple H had a face-to-face interview to hype up their six-man tag match at Backlash.

Backstage, SmackDown GM books Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy in an “I Quit” match at Backlash.

Matt Hardy opened SmackDown with a promo celebrating his victory over his brother Jeff at WrestleMania XXV. Jeff runs out to attack Matt and General Manager Teddy Long books then in a stretcher match for tonight’s main event.

The Big Show pinned Kofi Kingston. Kofi put on a nice showing and wasn’t absolutely buried in the defeat.

The Great Khali pinned Santino Marella.

Gail Kim pinned Michelle McCool.

Edge hosted World Champion John Cena in The Cutting Edge. The two put on a wonderful back-and-forth promo highlighting their storied past and their upcoming Last Man Standing match at Backlash. It was a great showing from two men who aren’t strangers to each other who continue to build upon their long-standing story.

Priceless (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) beat WWE Unified Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo Colon in a non-title match.

Matt Hardy beat Jeff in a stretcher match.

SmackDown was taped on Monday night alongside RAW and ECW so it was quite the fluff go-home show for WrestleMania that featured many cut-ins to the live Axxess fan fest held in Houston.

Gail Kim & Maria beat WWE Divas Champion Maryse & Michelle McCool when Gail pinned Michelle.

They cut to Todd Grisham & Jerry “The King” Lawler live at Axxess in Houston for a quick update.

Backstage Jeff Hardy offers a rebuttal to his brother Matt.

Michelle McCool v. Maryse for the Divas Championship ended in a no contest when Gail Kim interfered and took out both women.

Shawn Michaels comes all dressed in white, like the ying to Undertaker’s yang. Michaels begins a tribute to Undertaker but is interrupted by the man himself. Michaels escapes before Undertaker can cause any bodily harm on him.

This week’s SmackDown was their 500th episode and featured stars from all three brands.

Triple H pinned Vladimir Kozlov.

MVP pinned Shelton Benjamin to win the United States Championship.

Shawn Michaels pinned Kane.

Jeff Hardy pinned The Brian Kendrick in an Extreme Rules match.

The Undertaker made WWE Intercontinental Champion John “Bradshaw” Layfield by submission in a non-title match.

World Heavyweight Champion Edge and The Big Show came out to the ring with SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero. Both guys declare their love to Vickie until John Cena came out to interrupt the love-in. Show and Edge then brawled with each other and Vickie got knocked down in the process. Not the best way to end the 500th episode.

World Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz beat WWE Tag Team Champions Primo & Carlito Colon (with The Bella Twins) to retain the World Tag Titles. After the match The Bellas left with Miz and Morrison.

WWE United States Champion Shelton Benjamin & Chavo Guerrero beat R-Truth and MVP when Benjamin pinned MVP.

Matt Hardy came out and cut a great promo about being the one who was responsible for his brother Jeff’s recent mishaps and even brought up Jeff’s past house fire, which included the unfortunate death of Jeff’s dog Jack. Matt even brought the collar of Jack out with him. Jeff came out and cut a great rage-filled promo that ended with Jeff attacking Matt, who then rolled out the ring and begged Jeff not to fight him.

WWE Women’s Champion Melina & Maria beat WWE Divas Champion Maryse & Michelle McCool when Melina pinned Maryse.

Finlay beat The Brian Kendrick to earn a spot in Money in the Bank at WrestleMania XXV.

The Undertaker pinned Vladimir Kozlov.

The show was fairly decent and seemed to fly by, so a good show overall.

The Undertaker opened the show with a fantastic promo accepting Shawn Michaels’ challenge for a bout at WrestleMania XXV.

MVP pinned Matt Hardy to earn a spot in Money in the Bank at WrestleMania XXV.

Maryse pinned Eve Torres.

SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero came out to oversee the World Heavyweight Championship contract signing between Champion Edge and The Big Show. John Cena came out to interrupt the proceedings. He hits Big Show with a low blow, hits Edge with the Title belt and throws the table on him, and then whispers something in Vickie’s ear.

WWE United States Champion Shelton Benjamin beat Jeff Hardy by disqualification due to Matt Hardy’s interference. As a result, Benjamin qualifies for Money in the Bank at WrestleMania XXV.

Triple H beat Umaga by disqualification due to interference from Legacy. After the match the three members of Legacy attacked Triple H.

Here are the results of SmackDown, taped form Portland, Oregon.

RAW’s John Cena opened the show to once again challenge Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge comes out to confront Cena, but SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero interrupted the pair and booked Cena versus Big Show for the show later on that night.

WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo Colon beat The Miz & John Morrison to defend their Championships.

Vladimir Kozlov pinned The Undertaker.

Matt Hardy came out to wrestle his brother Jeff Hardy, but Jeff came out without his wrestling gear on. The two brothers argued in the middle of the ring and Jeff leaves the ring without any confrontation.

Chavo Guerrero pinned WWE United States Champion Shelton Benjamin in a non-title match.

The Big Show pinned John Cena.
